What Soap is Best for my Spray Tan?
The million dollar question I get asked all the time and I am SO glad you’re asking because it means you’re going to take good care of your spray tan!
The key to an amazing, long lasting tan, is taking good care of your skin! This includes using a spray tan approved body wash!
First things first, never use any soaps or shaving creams on your very first rinse! The reason for this is because you want to leave the DHA(the active ingredient that tans your skin) on your skin for as long as 24 hours! If you use soap on that first rinse, you will stop the tanning process which will lead you to disappointing results! Your tan will probably end up pretty light and/or uneven! So please make sure to NOT use soap for the first 24 hours after your spray!
Now the key to a spray tan safe soap is NATURAL ingredients. The longer the ingredient list is, the faster your spray tan will fade.
So here are a couple tips when looking for a wash that will work best for your spray tan:
- Sulfate-free
- natural ingredients
- mineral oil free
- hydrating ingredients
